Carriers and Mobile companies are trying to drive data adoption and educate customers on all the capabilities of today’s cellphones, and with this move Google seems to be helping. Google is asking its legion of mobile users and YouTube fans to make a video clip of the “wackiest, coolest or most useful mobile trick” and submit it to the Mobile Tricks page.

StarOffice is a full-featured office suite that contains a word processor, a spreadsheet tool, applications for presentations, databases, math formulas and drawing. It has support for most Microsoft Office formats, but it can also export documents as PDF out of the box. The software normally costs $70, but it’s available for free in Google Pack. The StarOffice download is about 140 MB.

The next step would probably be the addition of a plug-in that lets you synchronize local documents with Google Docs & Spreadsheets, so you can have the best of the both worlds: edit complicated documents offline, collaborate and store files securely online. For now, StarOffice is integrated with Google Search and Google Desktop.

Recently checking my emails, I saw an email from Paypal but in real it was a spam mail but Gmail saved me. The mail looked so real but was fake. This maybe a new feature from Gmail but is very helpful. Gmail must be using the domain-check system which was also used by Yahoo! to check from which domain the email has came. This tracking system will be very useful to the users and will also save them from dropping down in a spam trap.

Whenever there is a mail which claims to be from someone but is not and is a spam, Gmail will automatically will show a message alerting the user about it.

Warning: This message may not be from whom it claims to be. Beware of following any links in it or of providing the sender with any personal information.

Gmail now seems to growing to be the best email service provider and also a good friend of internet users.
