Sometimes the connection speed reported by your modem does not correspond to your browsing flexibility. Or evidently it’s lower than you’d like to be. Doing a simple adjustment to the windows registry we will increase the speed of access to “http” servers on internet.
Now you can browse web pages faster with these following steps.
- START > “Run” > type “regedit” and press ENTER
- In the Registry, find the string
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\InternetSetting - In the right windows create or modify the following “DWORD” values:
a. MaxConnectionsPerServer: “Double click” on this value and write “4″ for dial up and “20″ for ADLS connection.
b. MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server: “Double click” on this value and write “8″ for dial up and “20″ for ADLS connection.
All these values correspond to the number of simultaneous queries for access to a server. Then close regedit and restart windows to get immediate effect or wait for your next reboot.
